Here’s another fine piece by woodturner and carver Bradford Chaucer. This large closed hollow form vase, in the style of early Greek or Roman jars, was turned from locally grown birch. The lower 2/3 was covered in copper leaf and patinized; the upper portion was painted in enamel which was dry-brushed in pearlite irridescent powders. The entire piece was finished in lacquer.Dimensions: 10"x 5-1/2"; Center: 1-3/4" in diameter.
