David Levy developed his
love for woodworking while
growing up in the pine
forest
of Southern New Mexico. He
gained his inspiration for
using wood as an art
medium,
while working summer jobs
at
a logging camp. There he
began experimenting with
colors and grains of various
woods.
He later studied
design at the University of
California and today, David
Levy creates original
functional art with superior
construction, and unusual
flair. He works
with domestic and exotic
hardwoods, and uses the
method of tongue and
groove
or dovetail joinery to
produce
fine wooden pieces that are
made to withstand the test
of
time as well as the
different climates around
the
world.
