cutting boards are from
Jamaica, and are sold
exclusively at Barouke.
The birth of this gallery in
1994 was inspired by
lignumvitae, the hardest and
most dense wood in the
world. We started with just a
collection of lignumvitae
pieces, mortars & pestles,
cutting boards, wine goblets
among other items. This
precious hardwood is the
heart and soul of this
company, and will forever
have a place at Barouke.
