The border of our Heavenly Hibiscus Marquetry Mirror, depicts hummingbirds and butterflies flitting among flowers and leaves. Our mirror was crafted with great precision by Jeffery Allan Nelson, using 468 pieces of wood veneer. Mother-of-pearl, abalone and malachite (a stone composite) was also used in the process. The Heavenly Hibiscus Mirror consists of 17 species of woods from around the world. Enclosed in a pocket on the back of this mirror, is a legend which lists the number, wood types, their origin and placement in the intricate border design. Dimensions, 25" wide "x 31 in height". This mirror is wired to be hung either vertically or horizontally.
