Barouke-The Woodcrafters Gallery Purchase a sleek sculptured scope designed with its own light source. This is one of Henry Bergeson’s latest designs. It has three interchangeable brass trimmed object cases. Two of these oil-filled object cases rest side by side in a stand alone holder, sculpted from solid bubinga or maple woods. The third case is held in place by a highly magnetized holder, also made from solid wood. The body of our Inversion Kaleidoscope is made from bubinga trimmed in birdseye maple. The brass button on the base of this scope can be pressed to dramatize a magnificent view of the cell within. The light then goes off automatically. | Henry Bergeson, a Mechanical Engineer by profession formed a love for things mechanical at an early age. He developed a keen eye for design through the "real world" job experience and in 1987 he moved to Colorado his new home where he followed his intuition and tried his hand at the designing and crafting of wooden kaleidoscopes. Today, he is widely respected as a master in the field of Kaleidoscope Artistry. His favorite medium is wood. Each kaleidoscope represents the culmination of the evolution of an art form. Each of Henry's most popular kaleidoscopes (like The Cordalee for example), evolves over time. Henry refers to these changes as his latest “Editions”. However, if you should ever meet Henry, don’t be deceived by his quiet demeanor. His life has been anything but boring. For example, you might ask him to tell you the story of how he was rescued at sea (from his small sail boat) during a storm, while sailing from Europe to The Americas. Americas favorite wood gallery! Celebrating 14 Years of Presenting Fine Woodcrafts. Capture the beauty of unique wood crafts handmade from beautiful exotic woods. Rich hardwoods, lignumvitae, cocobola and others, are artfully combined... | Kaleidoscopes | Henry Bergeson Kaleidoscopes | Inversion Kaleidoscope - Henry Bergeson
