This unique wooden clock has a quartz movement, features a brushed gold face with a decorative beveled ring and indicates time without the use of numerals. It measures 8" in height, 10 inches wide, 2 inches deep and weighs approximately 3 pounds. WHAT IS BURL WOOD A burl is an uncommon type of wood in which the grain has grown in a deformed manner. It is commonly found in the form of a rounded outgrowth on a tree trunk or branch that is filled with small knots from dormant buds. Burls are like wooden gems which yield a very peculiar, highly figured and desired wood.
