dried to a 6% moisture
content to stabilize and
prevent future cracking and
checking of the wood.
The
depth and thickness of these
rather large spaulted maple
salad bowls vary. Each bowl
has an approximate width of
15 inches or more, a depth of
7 inches with thickness of the
wood being 5/8 of an
inch.
