The colors of the exotic woods in this hot mat are natural. No stains were used. The wood types used are cocobola, (otherwise known as rosewood), purpleheart, rom-rom, and guapinol. These woods are all unique to Central America.

Our Mixed Woods Trivet measures 8-3/4 inches by 7 inches and weighs approximately 16 ounces and will serve as an attractive wooden rest for hot dishes during any occassion.
